Antarctica has a short season and the best time to travel is between November and March.
Begin the season with birds and penguins courting and mating, whilst December and January experience 20 hours of sunshine, warmer temperatures, and the ice melting.
Later in the season is the time for whale watching and seeing the penguin chicks fledging, while temperatures begin to drop again.
Life on an expedition cruise is unlike regular cruising, you will have the chance to enjoy lectures and workshops presented by the experienced Expedition Team whilst at sea.
